Tioga County approved several vendor contracts at the March 11 meeting. The board approved an agreement with Gila, LLC d/b/a Municipal Services Bureau for online payment processing of tax payments; convenience fees will be paid by the user and the contract term is three years with an automatic two‑year renewal. The board also approved a Wilson Consulting Group contract for engineering services to remove six former railroad crossings in Wellsboro Borough and Delmar Township for $23,350; the majority of this expense is grant funded through PennDOT MTF with a portion paid from Liquid Fuels.
Additional vendor approvals included an agreement with Ehrlich for quarterly bed bug control at Human Services for $995 per quarter; a one‑year HVAC preventative maintenance contract with Van Hook Service Co., Inc. at $6,600 per year covering several county facilities; and a Tri‑Co Connections contract to run dark fiber with a $6,000 installation charge and $400 monthly recurring charge. Each item was approved by unanimous vote as recorded in the minutes (SEG 032, SEG 035).
