Tioga County commissioners on Jan. 14 approved a package of procurement and professional-service items spanning IT, construction, software and appraisal work.
The board approved IT's purchase of ten Dell servers at a total price of $92,404.72 to be paid from Act 13 funds. Commissioners also approved a CBF Contracting change order for the Patterson Trailhead Facility to construct wood pipe chases for HVAC piping at a cost of $3,785. A proposal from Real Estate Appraisal & Marketing Associates was accepted to provide a professional valuation related to the Lowes Home Centers appeal to Common Pleas Court; the appraisal fee is $5,500 and will be split with the school district and municipality. The board also approved an amendment to Government Software Services for a conversion to a web-based tax collector/tax administration software at no additional cost.
Each item was presented as a discrete motion and recorded as unanimously approved. Several of the procurement items are listed as funded from Act 13 or split with other local entities as noted in the minutes.
