Salary Board raises pay rates for deputy and part-time clerical worker

The Tioga County Salary Board met immediately after the commissioners' meeting and approved two wage adjustments. The board unanimously adjusted Sheriff Deputy Lacey Castle's pay to $20.50 per hour following Castle's graduation from the Sheriff and Deputy Sheriff Waiver class.
The board also unanimously set Virginia Losinger, a part-time Clerical Support employee in Family Services, to $18.50 per hour (no benefits). Both actions were recorded as motions and carried by the four-member Salary Board.
