County approves several construction change orders, including credits on Patterson Trailhead and VA building updates

During the Sept. 10 meeting, Tioga County Commissioners approved a series of construction change orders. The board approved a $16,445 change order from CBF Construction for the Veterans Affairs building to cover additional sinks, window framing, flooring adjustments and other interior revisions (Act 13 funding noted). Commissioners also approved a $76,000 credit from CBF Construction for the Patterson Trailhead Facility building related to changes in exterior wood type and roofing gauge, and a $376,025 credit from Glenn O. Hawbaker Inc. for site development at the Patterson Trailhead after deciding unsuitable soil would remain on site rather than be hauled off (Act 13 / Marsh Creek Greenway account).
All votes on those change orders were unanimous. The minutes record funding references to Act 13 and the Marsh Creek Greenway account for trail-related credits and site work.
