Tioga County approves multiple hires and promotion for Family Services

The Tioga County Board of Commissioners approved a series of personnel actions at its Aug. 13 meeting, acknowledging several recent resignations and hiring new staff across departments. Commissioners Marc Rice, Sam VanLoon and Shane Nickerson voted unanimously to accept resignations including Cooper Rouse (part-time corrections), Cassandra Webster (part-time corrections), Jaclyn Wolfe (part-time corrections), Erica Leonard (911 dispatcher, eff. 8/16/24), Richard Mosher (maintenance), and Pam Reynolds (Dept. of Human Services, eff. 9/6/24).
The Board also approved hires: Angel Negron as Custodian ($12.75/hr., benefits, effective 7/22/24); Joseph Kirchgessner, Maintenance Worker I ($15.75/hr., benefits); Virginia Sticklin, Ongoing Caseworker I ($18.15/hr., benefits); Haley Davis, Intake Caseworker I ($18.15/hr., benefits); Kiarra Burrell and Saiyan Losinger, both C&Y Caseworker Assistants ($16.50/hr., 37.5 hrs/week, with benefits); and Max Campbell as part-time on-call Corrections Officer ($14.31/hr., no benefits). The Board also promoted Jeanette Salevsky from Caseworker II to Foster Care Supervisor, Family Services, at an annual salary of $47,840. All personnel motions were moved and seconded by commissioners and carried by a 3–0 vote.
