After adjourning the regular meeting at 11:14 a.m., the Board convened a canvass session for local elections. The canvass revealed a three-way tie for Roseland City Council Seat 4.
Commissioner Jack Garner drew a name from an envelope to break the tie and the seat was awarded to John Benedict. The canvass closed at 11:16 a.m. after a motion by Chair Myra Carlisle Frazier and a second by Commissioner Cory Moates; the motion passed unanimously.
