Near the end of the meeting commissioners approved a slate of abatements—PP24-144, PP24-150, TK24-149, TK24-151, RE24-146, RE24-147 and RE24-152—on a 3-0 vote after a motion by Commissioner Doug Hendricks and a second from Commissioner Perry Russell. The board then approved warrants totaling $119,677.87 and a separate warrant to Flint Oak for $1,904.00 for the Christmas dinner. Payroll approval for $262,339.77 was also recorded as approved 3-0.
The board recessed into multiple executive sessions during the meeting: a non-elected-personnel session from 1:56–2:02 p.m., a second non-elected-personnel session from 2:13–2:25 p.m., and a legal session from 2:32–2:37 p.m. Minutes state the board returned to open session after each and that no action was taken as a result. The meeting adjourned at 2:49 p.m.
