County Attorney Kelly Premer Chavez told commissioners she is reviewing Resolution 26-03 (on data centers) and several draft agreements with Rupart Energy Center, LLC related to a proposed solar installation east of town, commonly called the Rupart Solar Project. The draft agreements mentioned include a Development Agreement, a Road Use and Maintenance Agreement, a Contribution Agreement, and a Decommissioning Agreement.
Premer Chavez said she will reach out to Rupart Energy to request wording changes the commissioners identified and will report back at a future meeting. No agreements were executed at the March 17 meeting and the board did not adopt Resolution 26-03 as drafted; the attorney said she is making edits for review at the next scheduled meeting.
