The Ellis County Joint Planning Commission unanimously approved minutes from its Dec. 17, 2025 meeting during the Jan. 28 session. Commissioner Mason Ruder moved to approve the minutes; Ross Meder seconded and the motion carried 7-0.
Chairman David McDaniel asked for any public presentations and whether commissioners had questions on the staff report; none were offered. The commission recorded no new business at the Jan. 28 meeting. The body confirmed its next regular meeting for Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the Ellis County Commission Chambers (718 Main, Lower Level, Hays, KS). Mason Ruder moved to adjourn at the end of the agenda; Ross Meder seconded and the motion carried 7-0. The meeting adjourned at 7:59 p.m.
