The Cherokee County Board of Commissioners opened a public hearing Oct. 27 on the intent to donate a tract of land in the Southwest Quarter of Section 18, Township 33 South, Range 24 East of the 6th P.M. to the Cherokee County Ambulance Association for a new building. Chair Myra Carlisle Frazier opened and closed the hearing after no members of the public spoke.
Following the closed hearing, Commissioner Cory Moates moved to approve Resolution 23-2025 concerning disposition of the specified tract; Commissioner Frazier seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The resolution is recorded in the minutes as Resolution 23-2025 and pertains to a county land disposition to the Ambulance Association; the minutes do not include a legal description beyond the township-and-range notation listed above.
