Board affirms officers during reorganization; asks staff to seek 2025 grant extension

The board held its annual reorganization and voted to maintain the current officer slate: Tony Anderson as chairman, Joe Denen as vice chairman, Penny Patton as treasurer and Buck Minyo as secretary. The motion to continue the board as constituted was moved by Jim Garland and seconded by Penny Patton and approved by voice vote.
Staff reported that the 2025 grant projects are complete and billed except for some seeding to occur in spring; reimbursement has been requested from the Department of Development and about $38,000 remains on the grant. The board asked staff to file a request for an extension so the remaining funds could be used for post-demolition work at 726 Rawlings or to include 1343 Grace Street and 1276 Old St. Rt. 38 in the 2025 grant.
