The Board authorized an add-on settlement agreement with Rumpke Waste and Recycling for $15,232.07 to repair damage to the 911 Center gate caused by Allied Builders, Inc. The resolution (2026-0073) was added to the agenda and approved; County Administrator was authorized to execute the agreement, subject to Sedgwick confirming warranty coverage for the repair motor.
County counsel Beau Thompson told the board that Sedgwick (the county’s claims administrator) was involved and the county would seek assurances the gate motor and repairs would be warranted before final execution. The settlement amount was recorded in the resolution and the board voted unanimously to approve it.
