The Miami County Plan Commission approved two agriculture permits and reviewed a Personal Solar Energy System (PSES) fire-department notification during its Feb. 11 meeting.
Jamie Hopper moved to approve AGP #316-26 (Delores Hattery Life Estate) for construction of a 1,800-square-foot pole building with a 16-by-40-foot lean-to to store farm implements; Gregg Wilkinson seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The commission subsequently approved AGP #317-26 (Samuel and Mary Schwartz) for a horticulture structure intended to grow tomatoes after Lynette Smith moved and Tim Alwine seconded.
The board also reviewed a PSES Fire Department Notification for RBP #505-26 (Nicholas Maple) and was reminded that the commission must sign off on the structure before it can become active. No conditions were recorded with the approvals at this meeting.
