The Board unanimously accepted a grant agreement with the Ohio Department of Children and Youth to fund IV-E program services for juvenile justice-involved youth and families. The agreement is for $2,000,000 not to exceed and covers services effective July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2027 (Res. 2026-0062).
Commissioner Patterson asked whether the award was comparable to past amounts; County Administrator Jennifer Hutchinson said she would check previous grant amounts. Patterson noted the board sometimes hears from Juvenile Court about gaps between grants and program needs that can affect the general fund.
