Clark County accepts adjusted 2026 water and sewer rates after utilities presentation

The Board of Clark County Commissioners on Jan. 21 acknowledged a utilities report and directed staff to implement adjusted sewer charges for 2026 following a presentation from Utilities and Solid Waste Director Chuck Bauer. The board voted unanimously to amend the Clark County Water and Sewer Regulations to reflect the new rates.
Bauer reviewed proposed rate increases earlier in the meeting and submitted the written presentation for the record. County Administrator Jennifer Hutchinson told the board staff would implement the changes once the board acknowledged the report. The resolution to accept the water and sewer rates (Res. 2026-0070) passed with a unanimous roll call vote.
