Emergency Management Director Jim Bogart told commissioners Clay County has been placed in High Fire Danger for the next couple of days and recommended precautions for county operations. He also reported that Networks Plus installed virus protection on the Rapid Tag computer.
Bogart said Blue Stem Electric will host a High Voltage Power Line Class on March 29, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. and strongly recommended Highway Department attendance; the Board agreed that highway staff attendance would be mandatory to improve safety and compliance.
