Clay County board completes canvass, presents official results of USD 379 special bond election

Thurlow, Commissioner Carlson and Commissioner Mayo — served as the Board of Canvassers for the March 3, 2026 USD 379 Special Bond Election and met to review the official counts. The board viewed the election zero tape, reviewed 10 provisional ballots and processed five of those provisional ballots for counting; County Clerk Kayla Wang reviewed totals, write‑ins and tally sheets with the canvass board and presented the Official Final Results.
Veronica Carmona, Yesenia Summerson and Sierra Urban served as the provisional board and ran totals for the five processed provisional ballots. The canvass concluded and was adjourned at 8:25 p.m., after which the regular Board meeting convened at 8:30 a.m.
