The Ward County Commissioners' Court unanimously approved payment of the county's bills during its Jan. 27 meeting. Commissioner Eddie Nelms moved to approve payment; Commissioner Guy Thames seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
The Court also approved officers' reports, the treasurer's monthly report and the treasurer's quarterly investment report. Hospital financial reports for the current month were reviewed but the minutes record no further action on them. The Court acknowledged a donation from the Tau Lambda Study Club to the EMS department earmarked for Stop the Bleed classes.
All motions related to bills, reports and the donation were adopted with unanimous consent; the meeting minutes do not record a roll-call vote breakdown.
