Chairman Mark Pruett asked that the county avoid cutting benefits in a way that shifts costs onto employees; Commissioner Keith Kelly discussed the need to find funds for raises while acknowledging budget constraints. Commissioners also noted plans to move zoning out of Kate Immenschuh’s office for 2026 and encouraged department heads to attend a town hall on March 4 at 7 p.m. at the EUM Church.
