County Counselor Todd Luckman presented an amended draft of Article VI, Section 5 of the county zoning regulations related to agricultural buildings and application requirements, and said he would provide the draft to Appraiser/Zoning Officer Kate Immenschuh for Planning Commission review. He also noted a meeting with a Tribal Attorney on March 13 to discuss shared bridge costs on the reservation.
Kate Immenschuh described the existing tiered fee schedule and how fees are used—first to the general fund and then to capital outlay when funds remain. Commissioners discussed the possibility of a flat-rate fee and suggested removing a $2 surcharge after the first $100,000 valuation; they agreed to continue the conversation at a future meeting and asked Kate to return to the board.
