Commission approves appointments, routine business and adjourns to Feb. 2

The Wabaunsee County Commission handled several administrative actions at its Jan. 26 meeting.
Commissioner Jim W. MacGregor moved to appoint Undersheriff Chris Herbel to the Youth Services 2nd Judicial District Juvenile Corrections Advisory Board; Commissioner Boyd Davis seconded and the motion carried 3-0. The commission reviewed and signed expenses, wage-change forms and payroll from Jan. 23 and approved an Abatement for Tax Year 2025 in the amount of $49.76. Commissioner Boyd Davis moved to approve the minutes of the Jan. 12 meeting; Commissioner MacGregor seconded and the motion carried 3-0.
At 10:08 a.m. Commissioner Davis moved to adjourn until Monday, Feb. 2 at 9:00 a.m.; Commissioner Nancy Hier seconded and the motion carried 3-0. The minutes were approved Feb. 2, 2026.
