County approves $14,179 parts purchase for landfill compactor; safety and repair issues discussed

He reported the fire truck transmission is at Wildcat Repair and said crews are hauling dirt to the state line road; he is getting quotes for chip seal but may delay the project depending on a bridge project. Commissioners asked him to inspect County Road B for a large hole and to evaluate liabilities when road employees assist on fires.
