At the Feb. 23 meeting commissioners approved amended Feb. 9 minutes and signed payroll and accounts-payable registers that listed departmental amounts and a total of $80,829.96. The clerk presented fund-by-fund listings including Road & Bridge and Employee Benefits.
Commissioners approved Economic Development Director Alexis' request for the WeKan conference in Newton on April 2 (registration $90) and authorized Kevin (Golf) to advertise for three summer-help positions. Kevin reported he had attended a groundwater meeting in Johnson County on Feb. 19 that may affect the golf course; commissioners asked Greg to contact Ted's Plumbing to estimate bathroom replacements. The meeting adjourned at 12:41 p.m.
