Community Development seeks guidance on old UMC building and tax credits for courthouse project

Diane Cucar, Community Development Director, asked the commissioners for their thoughts regarding the old UMC building and said she had spoken with Tyler Garst of Community Building Solutions about possible tax credits for the Courthouse improvement project. She said the firm has a company that handles tax credits and that County Counsel would review any agreement.
Cucar also noted local youth involvement in entrepreneurship programs and “a big congratulations to Kaden Thomas for winning first place” in the Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge.
