Sheriff John Walker reported that Reno County is increasing its daily rate for holding juveniles and the board approved a contract with Reno County Youth Services at $165.00 per day.
Walker also presented a bid for installation of twenty panic buttons, one box, and a repeater to cover the Courthouse, Health/EMS building, and the Public Works building. A separate wireless panic button proposal from Everon for 23 buttons totaling $4,726.72 was also presented; no action was taken on the Everon bid during the meeting.
