Public Works reports fiber strike during bridge work; board approves new pickup and other equipment purchases

The board approved purchase of a 2025 F250 from Kline Ford in the amount of $47,694 for the Road and Bridge Department. Sanders said the Noxious Weed department is down an employee and reported purchase of a 1,300‑gallon nurse tank for $9,423 paid from the Public Works Special Equipment Reserve Fund.
