Board approves financing resolution for Emergency Management vehicle; EM plans new LEOP

Erica Cordell, Emergency Manager, briefed the commission on recent activities including participation in a regional active shooter exercise and a Homeland Security meeting. Cordell said the Local Emergency Operations Plan must be rewritten using a new state template and announced that “the new EM vehicle will be ready for pickup on Friday, April 11, 2025.”
Commissioner Perry Russell moved and Commissioner Jake Liebau seconded approval of the amended Resolution 25-03 to finance the Emergency Management vehicle; the motion carried 3-0.
