Administrator seeks signatures to secure FEMA reimbursement for 2023 flood projects

Committee member/Administrator (S2) told the board that FEMA sent final paperwork for reimbursement tied to 2023 flooding damage and that the town had been paid for two of three projects. S2 said FEMA had increased the reimbursement from 75% to 90% and requested the board approve and sign documents so the town could receive the additional funds. "They decided to increase the return from the 75% we were getting up to 90% funding," S2 said.
Moderator (S5) asked for a motion to approve the paperwork and members moved to approve. The board recorded authorization for the Administrator to sign the FEMA reimbursement forms so the town can finalize payments for the remaining project and receive the additional 15% bump where appropriate.
