Moderator (S5) presented draft job descriptions and noted some language conflicts and outdated work-hour listings. The board reviewed principal duties for the recycling center in Stamford, including checking incoming materials and securing fees; Moderator (S5) said the center must continue to provide guidance and ensure records of fees and receipts are maintained. "Provide guidance. Collect, provide guidance for incoming trash, proper separation, disposal," S5 said when outlining duties.
Members asked the Road Commissioner (S1/Dave) to review a quick draft of updated job descriptions and to return comments before the next meeting so staff can assemble an updated employee handbook. The board flagged inconsistent work-hour entries and overlapping supervisory responsibilities to be resolved in the redraft.
