Erica Cordell, Elk County Emergency Manager, reported that the FEMA FY2025 threshold for public assistance in Elk County is $11,719.76 and said she attended the Kansas Pipeline Association safety program and the Homeland Security Council meeting. Cordell asked the board to allow use of EMPG (Emergency Management Performance Grant) funds to purchase a docking station and laptop through Advantage Computer for $1,154.
Commissioner Jake Liebau moved to approve the purchase; Commissioner Perry Russell seconded and the motion carried 3-0. The minutes show the purchase will be charged to the EMPG fund; no additional procurement conditions were recorded in open session.
