Windsor planning commission okays RFP process to hire consultant for Municipal Planning Grant work

Jason Rasmussen of MARC briefed the Windsor Planning Commission on the town’s recent Municipal Planning Grant, telling commissioners that, "due to procurement requirements, the Town must issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) to retain a consultant for the funded work." The commission discussed options for preparing the RFP and who would manage the procurement steps.
Commissioner Harry Falconer volunteered to draft the RFP; the commission approved a motion directing Falconer to prepare the RFP with the draft to be shared with the chair and the Planning Director for review prior to issuance. The motion was moved by Mike Welker, seconded by Harry Falconer, and adopted unanimously.
