Board approves Unaudited Actuals and GANN amendment, hears LCAP update

The board approved the district's Unaudited Actuals for fiscal year 2023–24 (M082-2425) and adopted the GANN amendment for 2024–25 (R06-2425). Trustees also approved a resolution verifying sufficiency of instructional materials for the 2024–25 school year (R07-2425). The second reading of the mandated board policy packet (June 2024) was approved, with Trustee Brent Lunde recorded as the No vote on the policy motion.
Cindy Schreiner, Executive Director of Student Services, discussed the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) for 2024–25, including a new student advisory requirement that places student representatives on the Parent Advisory Committee (11 students signed up) and the earlier CALPADS reporting deadlines that will provide data for the California School Dashboard beginning Oct. 15, 2025. Schreiner said the 2024–25 LCAP had been approved by the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools and will be posted as part of the California School Dashboard.
