Kingsburg trustees approve multiple personnel moves, transfers and appointments

The Kingsburg Joint Union High School District Board of Trustees on Nov. 18 approved a bundle of personnel actions, including interdistrict transfer determinations, resignations and new hires.
After meeting in closed session from 5:06 to 6:00 p.m., the board approved the interdistrict transfers designated by the superintendent (Motion M113-2425). The board also confirmed employment actions taken or recommended in closed session: Yuliana Maravilla was approved as a teacher assistant for the 2024–25 school year (M115-2425), Devin Neal was approved as a full-time utility worker and bus driver (M116-2425), Jacob Simmons was approved as head boys golf coach (M117-2425) and Enrique Estabon Mendizabal was approved as head coach for girls track & field (M118-2425). All four motions passed by unanimous votes as recorded in the minutes.
The board accepted several resignations: Tiffany Beaton (classroom aide) effective Oct. 31, 2024 (M105-2425), and long-time boys head golf coach William Jensen after 17 years of service, effective Oct. 24, 2024 (M110-2425). The board also approved volunteer chaperones Michelle Schofield and Erin Woods for the KHS Marching Band for the 2024–25 school year (M114-2425).
Board President Mike Serpa and Trustees Johnie Thomsen, Steve Nagle, Brent Lunde and Rick Jackson appear in the official roll calls approving these items. The meeting minutes record each vote on the listed motions.
