David Lewis, Clark County Emergency Management Director, briefed the board on emergency communications equipment and training needs. Lewis said "the six radios purchased with grant dollars are now available" and that he has purchased two radios from Spink County; he told the board placement and cost responsibility for the two additional units will be determined at a later date.
Lewis also raised the need for HIPAA training for anyone participating in the Tango Tango program; he said he will check on available training and report back to the board. The board approved and allowed the chair to sign the first‑quarter single signature report for Emergency Management by motion (mover: Chris Sass; second: Sara Gjerde), with all commissioners voting aye.
