The Board of Adjustment voted unanimously to amend conditions on a permit issued Oct. 1, 2024 for Chris Arthur, increasing the allowed number of trucks or trailers displayed outside from three to up to five. Luke Muller, serving as staff, told the board the proposed change does not alter the prior land-use determination that the activity is categorized as "implement sales."
SA Fjelland confirmed the original findings remain valid and that the amendment simply adjusts the numerical limit on outdoor displays. Chairman Wallace Knock and all board members voted in favor; the public hearing was opened with no members of the public present. The amended condition authorizes an improved display area adjoining the accessory building large enough to display up to five vehicles visible from the right-of-way.
