Clark County board approves newspaper, bank and fee schedules for 2025

At its Jan. 7 meeting the Clark County Board of Commissioners adopted multiple administrative resolutions. The board designated the Clark County Courier as the official county newspaper for 2025 under Chapter 7-18, Sec. 3 SDCL and named Dacotah Bank (Clark branch) as the county's bank depository for the year. The minutes record both motions carried with all commissioners voting aye.

The board adopted Resolution 03-25 establishing the county policy and payment schedule for indigent burials for calendar year 2025 pursuant to SDCL 28-17-4, with the policy on file in the Auditor’s office as Appendix A. Resolution 4-25 set compensation for election superintendents and deputies at $15 per hour on Election Day and $25 for training; polling places will receive $50 per election. Resolution 5-25 set a comprehensive fee schedule for county services (copies, faxes, maps, permits, building fees and others) including specific amounts and doubling provisions for late applications.

Each resolution was adopted by motion with unanimous votes as recorded in the meeting minutes; the county auditor will maintain the detailed fee schedule and indigent burial policy in the Auditor’s office.
