Clark County approves 2–3% wage increases for county staff, effective Jan. 3, 2025
Summary
The commission approved a 3% increase for Grade 1–3 highway employees and a 2% increase for all other positions, effective Jan. 3, 2025 and payable on the Jan. 20, 2025 payroll; no action was taken on a separate salary request for the Flood Plan Manager.
The Clark County Commission voted on Dec. 17 to raise wages for county employees. On motion by Commissioner Sara Gjerde, seconded by Commissioner Wallace Knock, the board approved a 3% increase for Grade 1, Grade 2 and Grade 3 highway employees and a 2% increase for all other county positions. The wage changes are effective Jan. 3, 2025 and will be reflected in the Jan. 20, 2025 payroll.
The minutes also note that DOE Reidburn requested a salary for the Flood Plan Manager position but that the board took no action on that request during this meeting.
