The Ogilvie Public School District board voted to approve July claims in the amount of $321,506.35.
During discussion a board member asked about a $3.49 charge to 'Mission Filtration' for aluminum frame wire mesh indoor air quality HVAC filters; staff explained the item was an indoor air‑quality filter purchase. Another question concerned a roughly $800 check to Quadient Finance USA, which staff said was for the district postage meter and related postage account maintenance.
After staff explained those line items, the board conducted a roll‑call vote and approved the claims unanimously. The board asked that such line‑item questions be included in future packet notes to reduce follow‑up at the table.
