Clark County awards culvert replacement grants to five townships

Commissioners approved awards for Richland Township (total cost $26,200.00; township share $7,860.00; county award $18,340.00), Fordham Township (total cost $52,328.22; township $15,698.47; county $36,629.75), Logan Township (total cost $98,989.56; township $29,696.87; county $69,292.69), Hague Township (total cost $34,910.86; township $10,473.26; county $24,437.60) and Washington Township (total cost $49,816.40; township $14,944.92; county $34,871.48). Motions to approve each township request were moved and seconded by various commissioners and carried with all voting aye.
The approvals were recorded as individual motions on the agenda and reflect the county’s rural infrastructure small-structure program funding pattern, where townships pay a portion of total project costs and the county provides the remainder to complete culvert replacements.
