Ruston council approves routine agenda items, claims and payroll
Summary
On consent, the council approved the meeting agenda, January 21 minutes, claims for Feb. 4 and Feb. 18, and payroll for Feb. 5, 2025; motions were moved and approved with 4-0 votes.
At the start of the meeting Councilmember Syler moved to approve the Feb. 18 meeting agenda; Councilmember Jensen seconded and the motion passed 4-0. The council then approved the Jan. 21, 2025 meeting minutes on a motion by Councilmember Syler and a second from Councilmember Huson that passed 4-0.
Later in the meeting council approved claims for Feb. 4 and Feb. 18, 2025 and payroll for Feb. 5, 2025 on a motion by Councilmember Syler, seconded by Councilmember Huson; the motion passed 4-0. Councilmember Syler also moved to adjourn at 7:31 p.m.; Councilmember Huson seconded and the meeting adjourned by unanimous vote.
