Board approves overnight trip to Anaheim for 2025 American Choral Festival; one trustee objects

The Kingsburg Joint Union High School District board on Aug. 12 approved an overnight trip for the Kingsburg High School choir to attend the 2025 American Choral Festival in Anaheim from March 28–30, 2025. Trustee Steve Nagle moved the approval; Trustee Brent Lunde cast the lone dissenting vote and the motion carried 4–1 (M040-2425).
At the same meeting the board approved a Cal Turf Equipment & Supply Inc. quote for an Overseeder 3D 1575 LV in the amount of $22,797.95 (M041-2425). That procurement was recorded in the supporting documents and approved unanimously.
