Regional planners urge the Select Board to use the town plan as a funding and prioritization tool

He recommended breaking larger tasks into first steps, identifying partners and funding sources, and scheduling regular check‑ins between the Select Board and Planning Commission. "A lot of those potential projects... fall into non regulatory town plan implementation," he said.
Tasha Wallace suggested extra outreach and helpful mapping for public conversations (flood maps, conserved lands). Board members flagged priorities including an emergency services building, downtown parking, and energy‑efficiency projects; staff and regional planners offered technical support for grant preparations.
The board asked members to review the implementation list and return with suggested priorities for future agendas and grant‑focused next steps.
