Morgan County Planning and Development requested a text amendment to Article 18 (Section 18.4.2) to reflect the Planning Commission’s change of regular meetings from the fourth Thursday to the first Thursday of each month and to change the start time from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The Planning Commission unanimously recommended approval at its December 2025 meeting.
Chairman Blake McCormack asked whether anyone wished to speak for or against the amendment; no one spoke. Commissioner Ben Riden moved and Commissioner Carl Jones seconded to place the item on the consent agenda; the motion passed unanimously. The amendment will be considered as part of the Board’s consent business at a subsequent formal meeting.
