Trustee Mink reported preliminary financials for Morton Grove Days, noting the event faced difficult weather but still generated significant revenue.
Mink said the village's carnival share totaled $35,725; sponsorships brought in $51,484 and the entertainment pavilion generated $17,109. Because of inclement weather the village received $30,000 from rain insurance. Mink cautioned that final totals are not complete because a few bills remain outstanding and the commission is continuing to collect revenue information as they prepare for next year.
She thanked volunteers, the commission and staff and asked residents interested in helping next year to contact the Morton Grove Days website.
