Jury accepts $40,000 Intertek proposal for FLAP materials testing (100% reimbursable)

Assistant Parish Engineer Matt Redmon presented a not-to-exceed $40,000 proposal from Intertek Professional Service Industries, Inc., for materials testing for Project No. 2024-127 under the Federal Lands Access Program (FLAP) for Bodcau Dam Road, Cotton Valley Road and Ivan Lake Road. Redmon told jurors the amount is "100% reimbursable through the FLAP grant program" and recommended acceptance.
On motion by John Ed Jorden, seconded by Jimmy Cochran, the jury accepted Intertek’s proposal and authorized execution of documents for Police Jury District 4. The jury then adopted a resolution authorizing the Parish Administrator/President to execute documents in connection with the proposal.
