Dr. Ken Ward, the Bossier Parish Administrator, asked the Board of Supervisors for Consolidated Waterworks/Sewerage District No. 2 to recommend an ordinance adding impact fees for connections to the district’s water and sewer systems. Ward said the parish currently has no impact fees for District No. 2 and provided the board a copy of the adopted impact fees for Consolidated Waterworks/Sewerage District No. 1 for comparison.
Ward stated the proposed impact fee for a 2-inch deposit would be $6,000.00 and asked the board to advance the matter to the Bossier Parish Police Jury for a public hearing. The board voted to schedule that public hearing after Ms. Holly Fisk moved and Chairman Heath Lyles seconded the motion; the minutes record the vote as unanimous. No public comment was recorded during the board’s discussion.
