The Bossier Parish Police Jury acted on multiple property-standards cases during its March 18 meeting. Property Standards Officer David Ghormley recommended condemnation for 5212 Clover Lane (Tax Assessment No. 101819) after multiple extensions and ongoing noncompliance; jurors voted to condemn the property. Ghormley reported progress but remaining work at 97 South Meadow Lane and the jury approved a 30-day extension for the owner to bring the property into compliance.
At 1301 Gray Lake Drive, owner Julie Hall addressed the jury and described removal of more than 2,000 pounds of debris and other ongoing work; jurors approved a final 30-day extension and cautioned that no further extensions will be granted. For 201 Longhorn Drive, Ghormley reported significant improvement and the jury voted to dismiss condemnation proceedings.
