Davis Cole for the Little Natalbany Drainage Improvements Project payable from LWI Round 2 funds; approved a $890 invoice to Southeast Telecom, Inc. payable upon receipt of LGAP funds; and approved a $10,851 invoice to Land Source Inc. for a library property survey payable from ARPA funds.
The jury approved hiring Henry Watson as a laborer at $16.00 per hour, payable from RBM funds, contingent on passing a drug screen and physical. Jurors also considered vehicle maintenance and acquisition: a motion to repair a 2016 Dodge Ram at a cost of $7,986.80 passed on a 5–1 vote (yeas: Jule C. Wascom, Willie Morgan, Warren McCray, Jr., Ryan Byrd, Doug Watson; nay: Quanika H. Muse). The jury unanimously approved purchasing a 2018 GMC Sierra for $11,000 from the Livingston Parish Convention & Visitors Bureau and approved $5,000 for emergency lights, a siren, and decals for use on medical calls and an incident command vehicle. The minutes show requisitions were approved and checks totaling $499,982.90 written since the last meeting were also approved.
