On the kitchen floor, staff said the original 1992 epoxy floor is deteriorating and Myrna Painting quoted $11,000 to grind and replace it; staff proposed doing the work over Labor Day weekend to limit service disruption.
For Hogansville Active Life, facility staff recommended replacing a 20+ year EPDM roof with a new TPO membrane; the low quote was $242,810 including insulation and new flashing and carried a 20‑year warranty. Staff said repeated repairs have been insufficient and that interior plaster and localized closures already reflect ongoing leaks. Commissioners flagged capital-accounts funding and confirmed staff will bring the items to tonight’s agenda for action.
