At the start of the meeting the chair announced that Bob Lloyd had resigned from the planning commission after long service beginning in 1998. Members praised Lloyd’s mapping work and years of service and expressed regret at his departure. "Bob Lloyd has resigned from the planning commission. He was a member since 1998," the chair said.
Members noted there are two vacancies (planning commission seat and regional planning commission representative) and discussed a timeline for recruitment: the select board asked for names before its October 10 meeting. Commissioners suggested inviting interested residents to upcoming meetings so candidates can see the commission’s work before the select board makes appointments.
